1. ANTI-DISCRIMINATION CELL
Duties and Responsibilities:
☛The Cell will look into matters to depriving a student-teacher and group student-teachers on a particular caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability or any type and matters of imposing conditions of any student-teacher which is incompatible with the dignity of human beings.
☛The Cell is constituted to safeguard the interest of student-teachers without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and to eliminate discrimination or harassment against of any student-teacher in State College of Teacher Education, Kohima, by providing preventive measures to facilitate equality, democracy and promote equality among the student-teachers.
☛The Committee will receive complaints from the affected student-teachers in terms of discrimination of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and conduct a proper enquiry, and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.

2. INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE
The committee looks into finding out incidents pertaining to sexual harassment (sexual abuse, eve teasing, etc.)
☛The committee will resolve issues pertaining to sexual harassment.
☛Guidelines for students to submit their grievances:
· ☛A grievance redressal box is kept in the college where the student-teachers can write and drop in their grievances.
· ☛Student-teachers can also approach the Student Union body of SCTE-K, who will approach the cell/committee for resolving the issues.
· ☛Any student-teacher can also approach any member from the committee with their problems, which can also be taken up in the committee meeting.
